Enslaved

Such little hands meant to make art

Instead, they bleed and bruise

A new mind meant to learn how to dream and explore has become a mind that has been trained to believe that life is pain

A brutal beating knocking the little one out cold instead of a warm, gentle hug

No stuffed animal to grow up with, no baby blanket to call their own

A hard cold ground instead of a warm plush bed

A new day brings another day of laborious back breaking pain instead of a day of joyful hope

No education

No money

No way out

Except through you

Child slavery is prevalent in every country, even your own.
