Happiness: The state of being happy.
Disgust: a feeling of revulsion or profound disapproval aroused by something unpleasant or offensive.
Sadness: feeling or showing sorrow; unhappy.
Anger: a strong feeling of annoyance, displeasure, or hostility.
Regret: To feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over (something that has happened or been done, especially a loss or missed opportunity).
To me regret is the worst emotion someone can feel.
It is a feeling that could have brought on so many other emotions if you had just tried.
If you had tried to be the new girl’s friend, she might reject you, making you sad or disappointed, or she may have loved you, bringing happiness into your life.
But since you decided it would be to hard to put in the work to be her friend, you are left with regret.
You are left with the feeling of not knowing what might of happened.
An alternate reality that might’ve been yours if you had just tried.
A life without regret is a life without ambition, and without ambition what point is there to life.
No matter what you decide to do with your life, big or small, the last thing you want to be left with on your deathbed is the lingering thoughts of regret in the back of your mind.
Live. Live to the fullest. Filled with joy and content or sadness and contempt, at least it is filled.
